The song lyrics of that incredibly annoying, yet catchy song, “Call Me, Maybe” include: “Before you came into my life, I missed you so bad”
Brandon was singing along to the radio and Ryan interrupted. He wanted to know how Brandon could miss somebody before they came into his life?
I was amazed at this question, coming from a 6 year old – but then Brandon’s reply was just as shocking: “I think it means you’re missing something but you don’t know you’re missing it until you have it.”
“This song connects to my heart.”
“I ROCK at this game, mommy. That means I’m totally awesome at it.”
The cookies just came out of the oven.
Ryan declares ” I would say I need two. One to eat and one to dip in milk before eating.”
Ryan was finishing Kindergarten a day earlier than the rest of the kids in his class. His teacher said that as he was leaving on his final day, he told her: “Tell my friends tomorrow that yesterday was my last day.”
After using the hot tub for the first time, I reminded the kids to be careful walking through the house with wet feet, it would be slippery. After Ryan slipped and fell on his butt, he says – “See?! This is why we need a wet floor sign!”
